Lasting Powers of Attorney
Under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 it is possible to use a Lasting Power of Attorney ('LPA') to appoint a person(s) of your choice to administer your financial affairs in the event of mental incapacity.
An LPA replaces the old Enduring Powers of Attorney which are no longer possible to make.
LPA's are regulated by the Office of the Public Guardian and require immediate registration.
Our specialist team can take you through the process and advise you of the necessary steps to take at each stage.
