Woolley Bevis Diplock LLP Solicitors is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural Woolley Bevis Diplock MONOPOLY® Championship. The event will take place over the winter months of 2011/12 and culminate in a spectacular can't miss finale on 22 March 2012 at the brand new Amex Community Stadium. The championship will be in the form of a knockout tournament using Hasbro's Monopoly property trading game and will be contested over 5 rounds, with each winning team advancing to the next stage. Teams of 2 from regional and national companies based in the South-East will be able to apply and there is expected to be around 500 players in what is sure to be Sussex's hottest ticket.
Each game played will comprise of three teams of 2 who will have to decide as the game progresses the best way to out manoeuvre the competition whether individually or as a joint effort. Strategy, guile and cunning are all key ingredients to advancing.
Successful applicants will pay an entry fee of £100 for a team of two and proceeds will go to charity with the winning team being able to elect the charity of their choice as one of the recipients. In addition to being entered to play there will also be an automatic invitation to the grand final at the Amex Community Stadium for a drinks reception and a chance to watch the final three teams battle it out for the honour of being crowned the first MONOPOLY® Champions and taking away the ultimate bragging rights.
The grand final will also play host to a charity auction where some exclusive lots will be available.
