Education:

Cambridge University; St. Catharine's College - M.A.

Born in York to a family well-known for manufacturing chocolate, Charles was educated at Marlborough College.  He subsequently read History and Law at St. Catharine's College, Cambridge from where he graduated in 1979.

After passing the Law Soceity's Finals in 1984 at Nottingham, Charles served his Articles in Richmond, Surrey.  Since qualifying in 1986, Charles worked for a number of firms in London, specialising throughout in Civil Litigation and Family Law, as well as working for a few years as a sole practitioner.

Charles joined the firm in 2007 having relocated to Sussex the previous year.

Main areas of practice: Employment Law, Family Law, Landlord & Tenant, General Civil Litigation

Charles is a keen golfer and currently plays off a handicap of 10 at Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club.
