Mark graduated from the University of Leicester in 1981 obtaining an LL.B (Hons) degree in law. Mark went on to study at the College of Law in Chester and, from there, to work for an attorney in Dallas, Texas USA. He was admitted to the role of solicitors in England and Wales in 1985.
Mark worked in London, moving to Brighton in 1989 and has been working for the firm since 2001.
Mark specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. He has worked in specialist pharmaceutical litigation, including the Opren and Benzodiazene actions, and on the Porton Down Inquest. In practice, Mark has attained one of the highest awards for an acquired brain injury in the sum of £4,000,000.00.
Mark also sits as a Adjudicator for the Legal Services Commission in both Brighton and London.

Mark is also a sculptor and painter. He was awarded the public commission for the Brighton & Hove Aids Memorial, erected in the New Steine, Brighton in October 2009.
